The Health Services and International Studies Working Committee provides scientific oversight for studies related to the social and economic barriers to access hematopoietic cell transplantation, including quality of care, and the influence of psychosocial factors on transplant outcomes. The Committee works in partnership with our Health Services Research Program, which provides resources and expertise to enhance research that utilizes the CIBMTR observational database. Studies evaluating social and economic barriers to access to cellular therapy are also entertained in collaboration with the Cellular Immunotherapy for Cancer Working Committee.
