Clinical Trials
To further the collective knowledge of transplantation and improve patient outcomes, CIBMTR supports and leads prospective, multi-center trials. From planning and facilitating trials to providing statistical expertise and interpreting results, we collaboratively address the most pressing clinical questions in transplantation. We accomplish this research through two organizations:
- Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network (BMT CTN) – conducts multi-institutional phase II/III clinical trials.
- Resource for Clinical Investigation in Blood and Marrow Transplant (RCI BMT) – provides statistical expertise, conducts trials and data management services for multi-center phase I and II trials.
This rigorous research is providing answers that are changing practice and improving transplant outcomes.
