 Working Committees

Working Committees shape the observational research that leads to publications for CIBMTR. Through 19 focused committees, volunteer members can propose, design and implement studies.

Membership

  • Membership is open to anyone willing to take an active role to develop and complete studies that involve CIBMTR data or resources. We encourage participation from U.S. and international transplant centers.
  • Each Working Committee is headed by two to three co-chairs chosen for their expertise in the field.
  • To join a Working Committee, visit the committee page or contact contactus@cibmtr.org.

Opportunities for involvement

  • Review, approve and prioritize study proposals that will use CIBMTR data
  • Design and conduct observational studies that involve CIBMTR data, statistical resources and/or transplant centers
  • Assess and revise CIBMTR data collection forms
  • Encourage development of studies in under-researched areas
  • Encourage and support participation of new members
  • Plan and conduct workshops

Meetings

Working Committees meet in person once annually during the February BMT Tandem Meetings to discuss current studies and to consider new study proposals.
