 Repository Steering Committee

The Repository Steering Committee approves the usage of samples from the National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP) Research Sample Repository.

Responsibilities

Review and approve use of donor, cord blood and recipient specimens from the NMDP Research Sample Repository for conducting studies approved by the CIBMTR Working Committees.

Membership

The NMDP Histocompatibility Advisory Group functions as the Repository Steering Committee for CIBMTR. These appointed members provide expertise in the following areas:

  • Adult Transplantation/HLA and Matching
  • Pediatric Transplantation/HLA and Matching
  • Histocompatibility
  • Immunogenetics
  • International Unrelated Donor Registry
  • Biostatistics

In addition, there are liaisons from CIBMTR, NMDP, the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI), the NMDP Cord Blood Advisory Group, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the C.W. Bill Young Marrow Donor Recruitment and Research Program.
